Pina (SOLD)

This sculpture is a tribute to the relentless work carried out by insects. It requires observation and reflection. I created the dancer outfit with care and with all the respect due to the wasps that built this nest out of chewed wood fibres. How many trips were needed to build even a square inch of that dwelling? On a human scale, such an object would be priceless.

Named after German dancer and choreographer Pina Bausch.
